My painting, “A Time for Everything (Under Heaven)” won the 2021 Pastel Societies of New England Award in the Pastel Society of America’s international juried exhibition: “Enduring Brilliance.”

I received a phone call from PSA’s president, Jimmy Wright, informing me that my painting received The 2021 Pastel Societies of New England Award. Such an incredible honor! The Pastel Society of America is the original and most prestigious of all pastel societies.

Thank you Jimmy, Cindy Harisch and all the wonderful people at PSA—Thank you as well to the Juror’s of selection: Richard McKinley, Collette Odya Smith and Otto Stürcke—And to the Juror of Awards, Emily A. Beeny, Ph.D.. Curator of European Paintings, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

I’m so grateful, thank you!
